  I currently own 1 Basset Hound - which was adopted and is now an "old lady". I also own 4 bloodhounds. 0ne of which was an abused female, that was repossessed by the breeder and re-homed with me and my family. 
I am highly interested in the prospect of "showing" with the AKC, but with the animals - our mini ranch - and home-schooling our 4 children, have not yet found the time nor resources (financially) to start the endeavor!
And have also made myself available to local Bloodhound Rescue. And our family has fostered 4 bloodhounds so far, until they were adopted to loving homes! I will admit I am "interested" in the occasional breeding, but not entirely motivated. I still have OFA and other testing to finish with my hounds, until I am ready to consider another breeding. I am IN LOVE with this breed! And I will own bloodhounds until the day I die. They are a pleasure to own - and soon you will find that you no longer own them... but they now own YOU!!

would LOVE to tell you a little bit about myself, and my family.
We currently live in Maricopa, Arizona on 3 1/3 acres. We moved
to this place in 1993, when it was still considered a "rural"
town. Things have sure changed out here since then! But we are still a somewhat
small rural community.
My husband and I have 4 children,
ages 17-9, and I have been a "stay at home" Mom, and
home-schooled each of them since kindergarten. Our whole family
has a LOVE for animals. Often times, we find our little farm...
"too full"! We take in unwanted critters of all shapes and
sizes. And we love them until, we find them a new "forever"
home.
